Btw, the new specs format on your page is handy but would mention the RS1300 has reverted back to the incorrect measurements on the Go Foil usa page. Unless they made a new mold, the span of mine is just over 105cm.

Thought I'd mention that I got my GT 1770 a couple of days ago. Only two short sessions on it so far, one in glassy conditions with a foil drive assist plus, and one in 20 knots of wind with a 5m wing.
Felt really nice but noticed it felt a lot more rear footed for my strap position that my RS 1150 or GT 1400. This was with the 14.5" flip tail, looks like it may need the new 20" tail to balance it.

Hey Pacey. I recommend the 20" FTL with anything larger than 1400. I did a sup lake downwinder on the 1770 yesterday with 20" FTL. compared to 2200 it took maybe 4 more paddle pumps to get it up but once up a lot more free.
I just sent another box to SUSS with more and tails too.

First paddle on 1770 20 combo. I was impressed, easy to ride and turns in tiny waves. Felt like it could handle more size. 1770 has a very thin leading edge giving a smooth fast glide.

Good to see the mast covers have been stepped up. Fuse and base now have covers.

I wish they did a gear bag that's just a bit wider at one end for the fuselage that takes mast , foils and tails

I reckon it is a missed opportunity as many would buy it.

Has anyone tried the Larry foiler ultimate foil quiver bag with GoFoil yet?
pretty sure it will fit the 80-83cm mast without tail wing on and foils up to the 95cm.
Internal dims are 90cm x 60cm.
For a 3k foil I still think GoFoil should offer better quality covers. Armie, Lift and axis all provide better covers as standard.

They look like nice bags but to small for a go foil it says 90x30x20but expands to 60 is that just with it open are I missing something

Hey Glenn. I'm pretty sure the centre divider on the Larry bag is Velcro so it opens up the two compartments into one large 90x60cm bag. Worth Checking with Larry though. It should fit shorter mast gofoils once you take the tails off.

I think i remember talk about that, at the moment i use the Creatures bodyboard quad wheely bag, I'm taking a ton of gear to Maui in it and also that's what ill use when i head west oz early December

The creatures body board quad bag certainly looks like a good option for those with too many wings and masts! Plenty of space inside for red and blue shiny goodies. About 1200mm x 600mm x 250mm. I think I'll get one of these for my next Rotto holiday in January.

Best thing is no one wants to steal a boogie board

The bigger question is why are taking ton of gear to Maui? It should be the other way around

If you buy a GoFoil board it comes with an excellent bag (I have both a Larry Foiler wing and a GoFoil 5'3/5'4 bags and GoFoil is thicker).
The 5'4 Gofoil board bag takes the mast& fuse.

Do you have any picture of that mast? I have a similar crack on the mast/fuse connection but my dealer said it was only superficial at the coating. I am using for a few months with no issues so far. But since I started sup downwinding I am thinking about adding a GT1400 or 1770 to my RS1300 for lightwind take off. Is it worth it or should I get a longer and skinny board?

I wouldn't. The gofoil mast is stiffer and stronger than everything but the Cedrus which it is certainly thinner and faster than.

Also, why would you? the GF wings (even the RS) aren't that great. The GF wings are something I put up with in order to get the stiffness and durability of the GF mast and system. If lift was more durable id be there, if armie was stiffer I'd be there, if axis was all carbon I'd be there(see corrosion below).

finally, corrosion. With a stringy fuse in the gofoil connection electrolytic is going to be an issue if you leave it assembled and ride in salt (@foilthegreats has some more flexibility here)

finally that armie mast and alchemy it's like the worst of all worlds. Armie stiffness, gofoil wing design, and carbon aluminum corrosion to boot!

Oho, I love foiling. I'm in the water daily. I'm just a realist about gear. So far, from my experience, all brands are a trade off. Looking at design, durability, and stiffness among the top brands it's still a "pick two" scenario.

Maybe if Aguera stopped wasting his time on the GT line and released the 850 we could see if we
can finally check all 3 boxes.

Nothing out there is going to be stiffer, stronger and lower drag than the GF mast so if you're intent on jumping while wingfoiling (JWW), you should work more on being under 20 years of age and under 70Kg

Just rig a kite if you want to jump, 95% of WF jumps I see around here just make the sport look bad...

Another RS850 teaser. Looks about the right size to be a weapon on the wing or prone.
