Extending the longest thread in seabreeze history ... a few more sessions under my belt with RS1150 with a few notes on stab combos that may help others, or at least amuse with a comedy of errors.
RS1150 with KD13.5 stab was a full-on foilgasm. So good it was stupid, as good as surf foiling has felt.

Then I lost my KD in the rocks.

Tried it buddy's 14.5 flip tip instead: holy crap, like I forgot how to foil, struggling to keep the nose up....turns out I had stab upside down.

Then tried it my wing go-to, 17'5 long flip tip. Just didn't feel right, worked ok though. Winging was fine.
Then got my long awaited FT 14.5....awaiting the FROTH-WOW I've been reading so much about....and kinda not really. Again, it worked, but didn't have the magic the KD provided. Now self-doubt...everyone else is frothing out, do I suck? Have I forgotten how to foil again? Maybe time to go back to supping and forget this frustration?
Had a thought....never actually seen a FT in person, maybe do some googling....quickly confirmed, they sent me the FTL14.5 and not the FTS14.5! Do the few inches matter? I think this will make a massive difference at the top end. The FTS is on the way, the saga continues, kinda relieved that it's not just me, and really stoked to get it sorted.
