Or he could do a a US dad did. Attach an old phone to a helium balloon, turn on video recording. Make sure the GPS is on so you can find the phone when it returns to the Earth. Recover phone, play video and observe the shape of the Earth at maximum altitude.

Sure waves can block vision, no augment there, try windsufing when it's mast high, you have to be very careful coming over the back of the wave incase somebody is about to hit the lip.
But Scarborough hill is way above any wave between you and Rottnest, and you start to loose the beach way before any wave could block it out.

It isn't vaccination versus covid in the risk profile.

It is (vaccination + some percentage of covid after vaccination) versus (no vaccination + some percentage of covid after no vaccination)

Why is the analogy - crossing the road on crosswalk and crossing the road not on cross walk.
