But Peter you do NO research, you just look at rubbish.
You've been invited several times to try various simple experiments that prove the world is a globe, but you are too scared to.
If you had a truly open mind, you'd go to Scarborough, see Rottnest from the top of the hill, then notice it slowly disappear from the base up, until there's no sight of it on the beach.
Also no media involved here, just some easy personal research.
PS take a telescope with you, you'll notice it just makes Rottnest bigger, doesn't bring it back from over the horizon like you once claimed.
I believe that I have explained elsewhere why that technique of "observing" a curved earth is wrong, though it might have been when FN was complaining that he can't see Capetown from his kitchen.
The problem is waves. Even a small ripple is enough to block a line of sight to a large object that is far distant. And also moisture in the atmosphere that attenuates the light reflected from the distant object so that it can't be seen against its surroundings
You've got me there! I am not sure what to think but the options below cover most of it:
I can't tell if:
A: PM33 has hacked your account.
B: Your account has always been a shill account for PM33 and is now leaking.
C: You are taking the piss just to highlight the nonsense.
D: You genuinely believe this stuff.
E: Your brain has been taken over by aliens/5g/covid vaccines.
F: You failed primary school trigonometry.
I am trying to make out the Burj Khalifa. Which direction is Dubai? Unless there are some 800m+ waves in the way I should be able to see that easily. I could use a telescope if it was a bit foggy, surely ;-)
Also, I wish that I had to expectation of being able to see Capetown from my kitchen window. Sadly, all I can see is the grass and the neighbours building.
