Do you just choose the first topic you come across to post your stuff? Stuff that never seems to be on topic or discussing anyone else's point ever?

Listen to Brett Weinstein on the Joe Rogan podcast yesterday. That is eminent scientist, evolutionary biologist Brett Weinstein of the dark horse podcast and one time university professor.

Much of the time was spent discussing why he has ceased to be a lifelong Democrat supporter and is now a fully committed RWNJ. The conversation kicked off on the constitution and how The New York Times is now suggesting that it is no longer relevant as it has become an impediment to government. Which of course is exactly what it was designed to do.

Many other subjects discussed including of course Covid. Well worth listening to!

It seems to confuse the word science for scientist in the last sentence, but then seems to be completely blind to this as they use the word "it" in reference to science as a process and not "they/them" in reference to scientists, as devotees of the scientific process.

It would seem to me the original twitter poster has half a clue about life, but can't really then think that through and anyone who thinks what is posted is some sort of sage observation of the world probably has less than half a clue.

She went to hospital suffering from Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria. Ten years ago survival was only about 50 percent.

Hemoglobin levels of less than 6.5 g/dL can be life threatening. According to Nurse Erin, her's was 3.1.

Hmm... most university entry requirements are assessed on the basis of academic qualifications and results. However, some courses also have additional selection criteria, such as a personal statement, questionnaire, portfolio, audition, interview or test, which are considered either instead of, or together with, academic qualifications. I'm thinking you would be rejected on the latter. But don't feel down, there are other ways you can contribute to society.

You've reached an erroneous conclusion in assuming that I did not. Whilst not pure science fishery management requires a sound understanding of both biology and chemistry.

I kite with a mate who has a science doctorate. He taught at the University of Canberra. He quit owing to pressure to pass students who were not qualified to pass.

Their combined income was around 350K per year but he also lost his job, not sure the reason.

Most of their savings was put into superannuation which they cannot access till around 67 from memory.

She is retraining as a medical administrator.

Material or health it came down to and she was clearly the exception to the rule.

Completely wrong. You can't get an aged pension until 67, but you can get at your super as young as 55 for people born before 1/7/1960.
If you are really hard up, you can apply to access your super at any age.

Where did the other $200k go? If the combined income was $350k, then even $200k is a good chunk of change.

A bit funny that both of them lost their jobs.

If they lived in a 6 bedroom house, did they own it or just rent? At that income level they should have owned it, and selling it should have gotten them a reasonable amount surely?

It sounds like it has holes in the story, far more than a beach buggy on the moon.

I am not sure there is any evidence, short of CGI to justify this story. Clearly made up stuff by homeless people to tell you how lucky they used to be and how their misfortune is not their fault.


I just had a brain fart. If man can install an artifical sun or many of them around the flat-earth, why can't they then just drive the beach buggy to the moon? Something with this story is wrong...

There's no way you could know. An asymptomatic infection could've passed you by and you wouldn't know. My symptom was a headache, it was largely by chance that I tested to discover it was Covid.

The truth will out. It always does. It just takes time.

The level of corruption associated with the shakers and movers of this world is mind boggling. If you take a dive down that rabbit hole you will appreciate that there is no limit to the tactics used in order to maintain their grip.

Evil is the only description.

Yeah, I wonder if you could have had Covid and not noticed it? Unless you were testing all the time, would you always know? Is a RAT test always going to pick an infection up? I don't know what level of antibodies you need to show a positive.

The one time I returned a positive result, were it not for the test I might have passed it off as a headache and nothing more.

I don't know whether its that important is it? The vaccine was never going to be able to protect against all variants, and as we have seen its more likely that it would have primed the body to get ready and would reduce the severity of infection.
