Are you still pissed off with the anti-vaxxers for not 'doing the right thing' and spreading disease lol?
Oh man, don't get me started. My eternal disappointment from this panmdemic was that the anti-vaxxers never got to the opportunity to go out into the countryside by themselves and live together free from vaccines and prove that it was madeup. It would have been a great experiment. They could have proven to us all that it was a lie, or they could have gotten sick or died. Either way, it would have been a great experiment and no one would have had to argue about protecting the vulnerable.
I don't know why the government didn't offer this as an alternative. There would have been heaps of takers.
Instead, we end up with this muddled experiment where the poor suckers in developing areas got to get the virus and let it mutate in their community until it became safe enough for the rest of us, who also had the luxury of being rich enough to isolate and then get a vaccine if desired.
.. oh and of course the antivaxxers have gotten the benefit of the mutated virus and people around them protecting them... except for the few that died, going to their graves either thinking they should have gotten the vaccine or that they were somehow targeted for not getting the vaccine.
All in all, pretty disappointing!
As for the rest of this thread, it's like Groundhog Day. We have all seen the pictures, and then the illogical arguments against them, and then the resigned disappointment.
Do you ever wonder if you had been lucky enough to be born in a different country, your one true good could have been Allah. If you were born somewhere else it could have been someone else. I wonder how that would have affected your understanding of why dinosaurs are not mentioned in the bible.
