how do you change a Gore-Tex vent?

With care as the cap pops off - so needle nose pliers can be used if you're desperate but get a 16mm thin walled socket. They're only hand tight

I installed a goretex plug on an old board. Be careful when you remove the plug. The top plastic is a cap to protect the goretex film and it is not very strong. You want to reach the actual plug that is sitting flush with the insert that is in the board. Don't ask me how I know that ;)

They go back on OK - ish with a dab of silicone n the lugs but don't get it on the membrane it won't breathe at all

Don't bite your tongue off; at least half of the goretex vents i have serviced were completely clogged and non-functional.

Stoked with my new/used stab with my small front wing.
High aspect so a little more lift (compared to my previous smaller 190cm2 rear) without more drag.

I think generally stab wing-tips increase control of yaw/roll when sending it with small front wings in big winds and swells.

Simmer 550cm2
Axis 420 Speed 210cm2
Offset between front and rear is about 2 degrees

Cool mod! Got me thinking about my SS FS 115. I'm not so proficient yet but find that the narrow tail bogs down a lot and I spend s***loads of time trying to get it on the foil in gusty conditions where I don't like to rig big. I got a SS Wizzard 130 and that basically takes of by itself. So much more chill. Tail and rail shape on the FS is one compound curve though, so would be hard to shape wings that would fit. Anyone got simmilar issues with the FS?
