I would have bought the Cole 43 but someone has beat me to it if I were in the market. Needs the most money spent on it with the sails being expensive for that size vessel. The best value is the Carter 33 with good sails, self tailer winches and a Bukh diesel. The joinery looks OK.
That picture is worth a few words. Have a look at how well it's being sailed. Crew weight together up for'd, few speed creases down the luff, every tel-tale streaming.
I'd buy it on the assumption that the owner knew what they were about.
Thanks. That is my lady and just spent a bomb on upgrades and safety. Lot of positive feedback and 1 contract went out but not sold just yet. Getting close now though.
At Pittwater there is an '84 Farr 1020 $52K and 97 Northshore 340 $68k, both are very well presented and don't have stupid draft depths. These are both superb all rounders as regards club racing (Sat arvo and twilights) and east coast cruising.
