Exactly mac. Forget the behind the rocks backwash dropping from the sky into a double keg snapper section.

I'm not sure what happened here but snapper has been one big hole for weeks did they leave it too late to pump the sand? Pros are surfing outside rainbow into greenmount atm.

Words out they are moving the comp to that world class break LACEY has been talking up to expose it to the world. I'm happy to hear this all this time I thought it was only for people who were rejected from the better spots like the ones John West rejects.

It's not the same since Parko and MF retirements. A couple of years ago there were a bunch of locals going real good but sadly lost their way due to drugs. So who's coming up next for Australian surfing do you know anybody? As much as I love JW from what I've seen the past two days the title will go to Brazil

R Call is rad and Soli looks the goods... Wade has been awesome...

Personally, I don't care where they come from, I'm here for the surfing and its siiiiiiiick seeing JJ back, That rail game is so good... EDIT: and air game

Mann has Kanoa improved, not my style but respect, from Jbay last year he's a beast...

And Reef look like he's smoked Julian... surfs fast, powerful, radical... wowsers!!!

Loving the overlapping heats too, lots of guys really going for it under priority...

How did they get it so wrong.

Since Oma hit, Snapper has been one big hole,I'm not sure when or if they pumped sand back around the corner into Snapper for the comp but it dose not appear that way.So why the hell did the main contest site get built at Snapper when clearly running any comp there was never going to produce any waves?

I'm not saying they have to come from here but its been a breeding ground for so many years I don't see or hear who's next in line,the world tour sure has changed when it was once dominated by the Americans and Australian's.
I've been a fan of Julian for years and wanted him to win a world title but from what I've seen this week the rest has stepped up their game and he appears to be at the same level he was last year or worse.
