If you had even a tiny bit of knowledge of the history of Israel you would realise that the terrorists are the Israelis.

The atrocities that they have committed over the decades in their quest to usurp the people who occupied the land before they pitched up waving the Balfour agreement are both long and disgusting.

I used to think conspiracy theorists were harmless imbeciles. But more recently I began to learn that they are attention-seekers who, with their lies, prey on gullible people and cause harm.

I already said it could be a false flag, about ten comments back. How many of the lower US states were stolen from Mexico in this way. Those ones aren't conspiracies anymore.

I think sometimes people interpret certain words incorrectly. This is one of them. I don't think he meant it in a way of being proud, but more of it being surprisingly effective.

I find it amusing too when people think an 'argument' is solely about a negative discussion. I think most educated people can see the word argument as stating a case or viewpoint, not just as different parties arguing with each other.

But I do agree in that this guy seems a little too one-sided, showing the Israelis in a negative light and glossing over the attacks by Hamas. You would almost think that Hamas was a group intending on helping the Palestinians instead of a group that is effectively bringing poverty to them.

Just because something has happened before does not mean everything is an example of it. You could label almost anything a 'false-flag operation' to twist it to the way you want.

Sure, human nature is full of lies and greed, but it applies to both sides, not just the side you dislike the most.

How do you discern a genuine attack from a staged one? Did Hamas like Israel? Clearly not. Did they openly say that they hated Israel? Yes.

I watched the first part of his speech so as to hear a learned argument against the Israeli state, so I could consider the opposite side from an intelligent argument.

All I heard was a bias hypothesis with opinion and hearsay as the only evidence to support it. If that is the best argument for genocide and ethnic cleansing there is from a well respected published academic then it shows how weak the claims are.

For example he cites the 67 and 73 war as prior examples of ethnic cleansing, as proof of the Israeli goal, he completely ignores the fact Israel was attacked in both instances by other countries. How bias can you be to just ignore history like that.

Meanwhile 600000 dead in Syria but no one gives a crap because they haven't found a way to blame Israel for that . It's such hypocrisy, all the claims of genocide on Israel but none for Syria. How can anyone not see the real motive is anti semitism, its not human rights or care for innocent lives or don't Syrians count as much as Palestinians.

Hypocrites or fools, not sure which.

That was where we were told Hamas were hiding. Apart from the three shirtless hostages holding white flags, that were shot by the IDF, how many hostages have the IDF rescued in the 6 months of ethnic cleansing?

I thought the 'canned conflict' between Iran and Israel was kind of bizarre.

I do think it's possible that Israel bombing the Iranian consulate in Damascus was an attempt to drag the U.S. into conflict, which they were not going to do. I also believe, behind the scenes, the U.S. then orchestrated/negotiated the Iranian and the piss poor Israeli responses from that attack - when Israel blew up some radar in regional Iran to end it.

Either way, Israel is on the nose, and can't possibly come out of this mess, smelling like roses.

Someone, who may not even be related, would one day decide that this was unjust and other innocent people must suffer because of it. People are strange. I am sure there are people out there that look for a cause to be angry about, just so that they can be angry. They want to be angry so that they can be recognised and be special.
