I wasn't going to say anything since we don't talk politics on this page.
Why are white people deciding whether or not Aboriginals get a voice to Parliament? At less than five percent of the population their vote won't matter. To counter this I'm voting inline with my own Aboriginal friends, if everyone did this, they'd effectively have a say. And if you don't have any black friends, is your opinion really valid here? Maybe cast a donkey vote.
This is where you guys get this wrong.
Donkey vote - is there pre requisites to whatever people want to use their vote for?
(I.e. if yor dont have black friends you dont have a say on this). I thought a vote is up to the individual to do whatever he wants with it. Or is it different now?
Constitutional changes are extremely difficult for a reason, to avoid the lunatic of time en charge change or put whatever he wants there.
Is its a divisive topic, and we all should be looked the same by the law and the constitution. Thats the current system anyway.
