pretty irrelevant mate - the bigger boards are getting into waves earlier & easier plus with a smaller finning making them quite easy to turn , brilliant glide trim & nosing

As a single I use an 8" 4A
As a 2+1 I use a 7" 4A and 87mm (3.4") DVS side bites from Shapers

I also have an 11' Christenson - I started with a 9" CC fin but now go with an 8"

My take on these Glider type boards is they have such a straight outline and the rails, especially on the Josh and Christenson are like nothing I've seen on any Aussie made versions of these boards. The boards sit very comfortably high on the wave face and the rail locks into the wall eliminating the requirement for large fins. That's my observation anyway.
