Those boards look more 'gun' than 'glider'...

The outline maybe similar but there's a lot of work in the rocker and rails that you can't see in a photo

I saw one on a recent trip last month. Rubbed my hands and eyes all over it and apart from being impressed with the finish there's not really anything new here that McT hasn't done repetitively before. The tails are too narrow and without question will bog down in small surf which these boards are intended for most of the people who ride them. Grab a Frye or a Hall to see what is really involved in these type of boards. Christenson takes things to another level again but his will surf bigger stuff amazingly well if that's your thing. Those guys in San Diego are onto it. McT would like to thinks he's onto something but he's 10 years behind the pack. But, in typical McT style he'll claim it as his own and R.E.P.C.O. along the way.

No surprise I disagree with your comments , the tail won't bog down your not riding it from to tail. Bob has made no claim on this board other than saying he started playing with trim boards a few years back with the Grace model. I personally believe the Hall is too straight an outline. Anyway your entitled to your opinion I'll let Bob know of your feedback.haha

My Sugar was 11 foot sold unridden and I listened to a couple of guys telling me oh you wont be surfing with us on that thing and since I had not ridden it I received an offer which was pretty good so I flicked it to buy another board. The guy I sold it to texted me saying what an amazing board it was and other mates had witnessed him in the surf, that and others saying I was mad (not the first time) I've screwed up selling boards so I reordered another and did some money, kicking myself again I love the 10's 11 will be new to me 11 is big enough monster in my books so a 12 will be in my next life time,the older I'm getting the better I was

If Mac is an Old fart then plenty of us on SB are older Farts..and have been surfing a lot longer and been more involved than many Younger farts on SB..
Some here have the means and time to do as they desire ..and F**ken so be it...

Since when do we let others dictate what we ride? From personal experience it was probably because they were worried you'd catch more waves than them.
Like some blokes saying I should sell my 10'er, the turning around and getting one themselves at 25kg lighter than me.
