I could be wrong but I think Skip and Josh Hall even use a 7 inch fin on the big boys. Like 4ryder said I think when you have that much rail in the water you dont need as much fin and if you do have a lot of fin it makes them stiff and track.

Could be wrong as I have never surfed a board even remotely that big but that is just what I have heard.

,Yeah should have got a full wooden one to match the spoon they'll get

The only thing that wasn't done what I did want on it was the stringers taped off to expose them but he forgot,not to worry!...
