Here's some photos I took of a Beijing wet market back in 2008. There were many different organisms, all writhing together in buckets prior to consumption by the locals.

I remember at the time that this gave me a bad feeling, especially given what happened earlier with mad cow disease. This situation can only worsen with climate change as organisms that have never encountered each other, are forced together over latitudinal and altitudinal climate changes.
