Your idea that I am 'obtuse' is similar to the claim of 'educate yourself' that I seem to notice from a lot of people. At least in that case it means 'stuffed if I know, read the same stuff I did and its obvious'. AKA I have no idea but someone told me.
In this case, I don't think they are peer reviewed trials.
www.nps.org.au/news/ivermectin-and-covid-19-for-hpsIt seems that other people find that its just not practical to use the concentrations that are shown to have any effect:
"They stated that the cells infected with SARS-CoV-2 were continuously exposed to concentrations of ivermectin that are virtually unattainable, even with excessive dosing of the drug. They concluded that the experimental design is based on clinically irrelevant drug levels, with inhibitory concentrations which may be difficult to target in a clinical trial"
Here's a study, due to complete in March 2021, and even had a placebo.
clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04602507To think that a lot of intelligent people out there are ignoring a possible solution is unlikely. Its not just a couple of rooms full of boffins that don't want to look at different treatments.
