I have another GR which is my backup now but I'm hate the shape.
Tomorrow I'll be picking up a 5'8" (about 21L I think) JS Forget Me Not.

friday
oily glass, breaking on bubble
12ish out at cack handers, a few out at other breaks
pod of dolphins for company too

friction good arvo was had

Checked all my nw wind spots but the swell wasn't quite there. Drive trigg to nearly yanchep.

Things have changed. There were a couple of spots at high tide but it sucks now. I'm still going for a look.

A few decent waves for a period of about an hour when the wind abated around lunchtime.
Got crowded quickly, too. 2.5/10

Somewhere between trigg and city beach. Few good waves but inconsistent but head high sets. Pretty glassy some where between 2/10and 8/10 some waves were wedging make able barrels than the next 5 were shut down straight handers

I have a about 5 weeks off (potentially) and two days in and not a single wave. My new board remains a virgin.

Might be time to dust off the old passport.

Snot, had over30 people out not that good so so crowded I did not go out. ( checked on way back from further north which was also Poo. All in all I was in the car two and a half hours and no banks, and sse wind.

I wonder if that was where I had it (pretty much) to myself for an hour this morning. It got crowded it a hurry.

Good fun a bit north of metro, fare few punters, long lulls but a couple gems in between

The lulls were definitely lenghty...but the rewards were alright.
New board goes like the clappers

Yeah managed 40 minutes before it got rather dark and very sketchy trying to get back to the beach through the rocks..Kicked my broken toe so hard I'm not happy..

But managed a good handful of fun runners

Not sure about the fins on the new boards. AM2 i think ill try something else next surf..

out at contacios this am

best i ve seen for a while
pretty reasonable bank, no back wash

light offshore sun out

no-one to be seen (almost) 1 other surfer, a SUP and a large seal
looked very quiet south at scabs

a few more at 3rd carpark, but a 200m walk and the beach was deserted??
