I agree. I was interested in his ideas and how the board turned out. If there was only one design that worked then we would all ride one board. Maybe his stuff did things others didn't want in a board, but equally, perhaps his designs work well in some conditions for some surfers.

Ok due to popular demand I'll keep you fellows in the loop. It's going to be a long thread because the project is going to produce a long line of boards.

Heckling is ok and negative comments about the design as well, I just get bored with the personal stuff. Thanks for the epic grovel Macaha, it's nearly as bad as the snide stuff, well done.

It was stated earlier that the shape I'm doing at present will be 'good for cruising but not much else'... that is 100% correct the shapes are built for cruising, and if they can cruise in everything from ankle high to life threatening waves then they are a success... cruising is where it's at.

I'm going to get a roll oif 10oz glass to speed things up a bit, the 3d glass is pretty epic but is taking forever to get right'. I'll still use it but want to get some shapes out faster, so will probably use 3 layers of 10oz as well and see how that goes.
