Thanks, Nozza. I am going to inject ingest a healthy dose of Coopers Sparkling, just to feel safe.

Edit:
PS. It's a strange lockdown her in South East Qld, Nozza... can't see any time limit re going out to exercise. My golf club is open and the comp's on tomorrow (2 players per group, masks if in buggy, no rakes in the bunkers, no grog sales, etc, but still, it's on), and I guess I can also go surfing for four hours if I want. If it only lasts three days and doesn't explode, it won't be nearly as tough as what you guys have dealt with (more than once).

Why isn't the federal government incentivising the elderly and high risk groups of our country better to get fully vaccinated faster?
If you're in a higher risk group have you been fully vaccinated yet and if not..."Please explain?"

I don't know what more incentive people need..
If you catch this it can kill you
If you catch this you can pass it on to loved ones who can die
In order to get back to "normal" the borders will have to come down so the virus will spread, those of us who are vaccinated will not be adversely affected
Those who haven't been vaccinated will be testing their luck/faith
The sooner the majority of us are vaccinated the sooner we will not have to have lockdowns & people can continue to work etc.
If peoples decision to get vaccinated depends on whether or not they will be given donuts should mean that they are refused the vaccination so Darwin's theory can kick in when the restrictions are eased
I got the AZ jab, don't get the flu jab each year but thought I just had to do this for the good of other people the economy etc
When it comes to getting the jab JFDI.

I asked "Why isn't the federal government incentivising the elderly and high risk groups of our country better to get fully vaccinated faster?"
Rather than the question, "what more incentive people need?"
Key words were "federal government".
We are all well aware of:
"If you catch this it can kill you
If you catch this you can pass it on to loved ones who can die."
Interesting statement later "The sooner majority of us are vaccinated the sooner we will not have to lockdown & people can continue to work etc."
Any idea what the percentage of the population the government require to be vaccinated before there will be no more lockdowns? I haven't heard a figure but would genuinely like to know if there is a target % that has been made?
That's a good carrot to dangle in front of the population. A target to rally together to achieve.

Well considering the last 18 months its not clear as the goal posts have continually changed since we were "flattening the curve". How's Qld going, hope the state government increased hospital spending to help their initial concern with the curve because they did not here in WA....

Mainstream media LOL as well!
I studied journalism as my major in a Bachelor of business at Queensland University of Technology (QUT)! The first year of the course was shared with advertising and public relations subjects which really teaches professional manipulation. Maybe, just maybe I have a bit of knowledge about sifting out the facts, the ins and outs of journalism and how to investigate a subject.
But go ahead and share your insights!
