I just got home from the game and I can say I definitely enjoyed it.

I think qld played well for a good part of the game and they were just a solid wall in defence, as can probably be evidenced from the 10min that NSW capitalised on.

I'm still horse from screaming, and I really don't like to watch footy all that much.

When you're at the game and high up, you really start to appreciate the skill of Slater, it's just uncanny how he seems to always know where the ball is going to be kicked to.

Well played NSW. Thought you should have been up by at least 10 at halftime but that was soon corrected early in the second half. Should be a ripper of 3rd game.

As for Slater - I agree SMH got to be in the name

Is that the first one you've been to, it's a great game to go too, cause everyone is going for someone so the whole crowd is involved, heaps better atmosphere than the the Grandfinal.

Yes, it's the first one I've been to and it's much much better than any of the grand finals I've been to.

And you're right, there are no fence sitters.

It was extra special for me because I had my boss sitting right beside me and he's worthy of my hatred in two ways.

Not only is he a cane Tode, he's also a Manly supporter.

i still watch it but some of the shine started to come off once Roy and HG
stopped setting up the sideline card table (and the simultaneous broadcast) .
doesn't seem to have the same impact without backdoor benny, the brick with eyes or the penalty puller!!

I can't believe that I spelt Toad, "Tode" I think I was on the bog snapping off a length when I posted and it must have been just as the wide bit was coming out.

I usually go crossed eyed about then.
