Just read the Qld team shocked to see old petero and Boyd in the squad . I haven't seen a game of league in over 2 years but from the game reviews they are both struggling to keep their spots in A grade .

Why do they keep wasting games on Melbourne they are never , ever going to overtake the AFL down here . AFL is a lot of Tasmanians main reason for living and it probably is even bigger in Victoria . Give the game to the Queenslanders who fully appreciate it .

weiry it makes me sad to see the lack of crowds for games in sydney. some of my fondest memories are watching the dragons on a sunday arvo at jubillee. scull inciting hatred towards any opposition. then racing your mates and the rest of the kids to run on the field and claim a corner post. then patting all theplayers on the back as they walked of the ground,then straight into a game of footy with your mates

i have watched live, AFL & AFL GF, Union world cup, soccer A league, and rugby league GF and international games and IMO origin beats them all hands down

NSW rugby league sold them the right to host a game, qld refuse to do this so all there series with 2 home games are actually played in QLD, it's a ****in joke.. Why would you give up a home advantage in a series where the home team is often the winner..

i went to a jeff fenech WT fight at the Rod laver "packed house" same night olympic park had a league game crowd of 6k same night MCG had collingwood Vs Essendon 80k and the old glasshouse had a melbourne tigers "basketball"game going on. they are sport mad

I think it is a real waste of a game sending 1 to Melbourne . There is only 3 a year so why waste one on the Victorians ( not that I dislike Victorians Simondo ) if it's all about the $ that's a bit sad for the NRL . Have to agree state of origin at Lang Park must be up there with best atmosphere at a sport event held in Australia every year .

Chrispy I reckon the blues have picked Haynes and Jennings trying to copy the game plan of the maroons.
Wish they hadn't picked Haynes can't stand him but **** he can play when he gets serious .
