Don't forget, it's on this weekend, just had news that 2MT is going all out this season for not just the over 65, but reckons he's got a big chance in the open after having his pacemaker fitted today

My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Tassie.....Wow What a beautiful place!

We met the most genuine and friendly people everywhere we went.

i drove down the east coast from Bay of Fires to Hobart and was completely blown away be the possibilities for SUP!

Thanks guys!

We LOVE Tassie!

NWBR Spring comp went off on Sunday with a great turn out in far from ideal conditions .That's surfing on the northwest coast

Opens 1st Sam Morgan , 2nd Mark Flanagan , 3rd Glen Wilde , 4th Chris Dukeson

Juniors 1st - Tom Kendray

Womens 1st - Taya Hancock

Unfortunately due to strong winds the BOP race has had to be postponed so still yet to run an official BOP comp in northern tassie

Well done

Keep the flag flying

Conditions on the day are always chancy

"Inside Stooges" going off this morning, well not quite, you'll be waiting along time for a wave here, but great spot for a flatwater paddle when it's onshore at "Stooges" and all this less than 1k from an international airport

the only boots the locals wear down here ET are steel capped Blundstones, we do however see the odd softcock from the big island to the north in wetsuit booties

Dawn Patrol today revealed a good size swell but both Park and River weren't at their best on the outgoing low tide.
Came back to the river at 10 am and had a rewarding session.

Bakery at 7am tomorrow ?? anyone ??

Booties optional

This time of year we get a few brave souls from the island to the north looking for some uncrowded waves, not hard to pick in the line up as they are wearing steamers ( must be for sun protection ) while the locals are in boardies, looks like jonesy has found a few spots to himself
