This time of year we get a few brave souls from the island to the north looking for some uncrowded waves, not hard to pick in the line up as they are wearing steamers ( must be for sun protection ) while the locals are in boardies, looks like jonesy has found a few spots to himself

Where is that? I have a trip planned for the Maldives to catch waves like that. Tassie is much closer!

Maldives is more consistent and dam sight lot warmer mate , tassie is all about swell angle , you wouldn't even recognise that spot on a different swell

I can't wait for the Maldives trip - but with seven mates you have an instant crowd. And if another boat arrives it is just an expensive hassle. I am going for sure, and it will be a great trip - but if there are some uncrowded waves somewhere closer then I would love to know.

looks like I've missed the big east swell this weekend, up the top of the state with the fam, I did come across this North west innovation fin set up, be interested to see how she paddles
Don't think kryon is the only crazy up here.

the yard can be very fickle, but when is good you would be lucky to find better, but she would be massive today, only for the very brave.

The Mecca Bowl turned it on for the crew at the "Ice Cold Classic" Saturday, not epic, but a few fun waves were had, Cliftonben managed to redeem himself after his poor result in the TassieSUP Winter Classic by taking out the open & over 40, Skeghead in the over 50, 2MT the over 70 (no surprises there) & Shezz the open women's.

watch this space for the Sumer series when the club champions will be decided
