I wonder if P2050 is the right fronffoil for my idea. I want to have an extrem low wind to no wind setup. I dont want to Dockstart nor Paddle me up. I wonder if a wingpump technic exists to get on foil with the P2050.
I'm 105kg has Gong Cruzader Point 135l downwind board a MA2400v2 and a MA1800v2 plus S210 and S270. Would the P2050 would work these stabilizers?
Once up on foil I want to use board pumping to keep me going. I want to do straight lines rather than making a lot of turns. I'm more interested in the pump "aerobics".
Thanks for any comments
I have the P2050 and would not recommend it for winging. I had a very similar experience as FyrFlieWork wrote on 30.08The foils start flying at 6km/h you don't need to pump it just gets up on this speed. but it does not accelerate, you fly with mostly 13 to 15 km/h, in gust you can make it to 20km/h but faster is very hard. Also, you need to fly it very straight, if you roll it, it rolls you over. I never made any jibe with it, where my personal best is 1h45 min without any missed jibe, so around 70 jibes in a row. What was even more depressing, in this 7kn Wind, there was a 14-year guy who was flying with just an 800scm foil, it was able to pump him up and once up the foil accelerated fast enough so he stayed up. means, you don't need this foil for light wind winging, you just need a better technique to start. and yes we are not as light as this 14-year-old dude but using slightly bigger foils 1050 or 1200 should do the same with a lot more fun.I mainly have the 2050 to learn flat water paddle up, but here the same issue as FyrFlieWork said, you need to be centered and that is not as easy as it might sound. (at least for me :D)
