I happened to post the following.

Good morning my weekend started early surfed with vanders,asea and blair.looking good for the weekend.

Doggie replied something like this,take your longboard and jam it with that big red thumb picture he has on file.

and the rest is history

deleted..did not want be bombarded with pm's

also deleted my last post to keep the peace.

WTF had big big day at work (allGood) had a bundy or two and find out the thread was pulled in the next room, **** me sideways if that was taken as sh!t stirring by the mods thats pathetic
but hey thats their prob not mine

i can't see the harm in saying hello and good morning to people, i say it all day and every day "i get some funny looks in the cities" it makes me feel good and i hope it makes someone else feel good.

yeah its a real shame. Loads of potential in the room next door with some good contributors but the regularity is poor most of the time unless there is a shark story or someone has named a secret spot.

It was a good attempt Weiry. Lets all not make it the last.

Started a thread (same as ours) good morning short boarders

with no tong in cheek comments , it started slow 200 looks only a hand full of comments but all good,then two days latter wham bam its over.

a shame Weiry as I was hoping that one would take off

No need to depart on such terms JB - we will resurrect the good morning thread....its one of the reasons that the contributions are so high in the greenroom I believe - all thanks to TB and his foresight as it goves everyone a starting point to lead from. As demonstrated with the Rugby League threads - when there is a game on or the weekend approaching or a Monday game or a big news story it takes over - otherwise its dormant. But what it does do is provide a place for people to comment and start things going...then they move to other threads...the secret is the continual chat as people come back to view the threads they enjoy or wish to be a part of....... Its a shame that LL's evening thread has not taken off as well but really thats his own fault as he refuses to ride a long board even though he has a longer board than most except for Big Spazz
