Kiroro Snow World Hokaido is about 90 mins from Sapporo by bus. We visited a week before the ski season closed & were lucky to still find pretty good snow for the end of March. Its a really beautiful place & a great resort.

May be going to snowboard in Japan this coming Feb.
Japanese fellow food stallholders at Eumundi is keen as to hit it.
Would be good to along with him to negate the language, culture proclivities I reckon.

Sounds awesome mate, major bonus to have someone with you who speaks Japanese. Travelling around the tourist spots in Japan is easy though. Stations have English writing & voices come over in English telling you what the next station stop is...so your fine most places unless you get off the beaten track. Biggest problem is Japanese beer is available everywhere, tastes great, but really hurts your head the next day. Gotta remember to eat heaps while you drink

Sometimes I worry about being permanently kicked out of Australia, having my citizenship revoked or being refused re-entry at customs and border control when I come back from overseas because....
I don't drink beer!

hahaha there has been many a morning in Japan where I wished I didn't drink beer...hopefully your not against explorations of the palate

Howling onshore most of the time and I'm not about to hurl myself into bigger waves at my age without serious training. Was ill all winter and have only had a few sessions this year.

Here are a fe recent sessions, on the 10'6" Earl small wave machine, the 9'3" Ghost and the 10'5" 'Hotcurl'.

I saw a picture posted in dare I say the 666 basement.
It appears to be you,my question at the time was wtf was that guy riding?it had wings.
I got the response of a cone of silence,why because nobody knows **** other than pop outs.
