Just set up a basket ball hoop for the kids school holidays. After no more then 20 mins of use I get a really rude text from the plonka next door complaining the sound of the ball bouncing is too noisy ..

Your reply should go along theses lines.

Hey get used to the noise theres two weeks of it coming your way

Ha ha thanks for the suggestions !
Let's just say myself and my wife have a new found penchant for midnight basket ball after receiving that text
In all seriousness though the poor tykes are only 5 and 8 years old - it's not as if they are slam dunking all day long. The kids overheard me and the wife talking about what the idiot had said and now don't feel happy using the thing...all because of some sad plonka... What the hell is wrong with people

Some people are just haters. Or they have never had kids.

Tell the kids not to worry about it and to enjoy the basketball net.

Agreed. Kids out exercising...... Would he rather they be inside on Playstation? Reminds me of a school I worked in years ago- a resident whose house shared a boundary with the school would complain about the noise, balls going over the fence etc etc..... The Principal simply asked her why she bought a house next to a school! A bouncing basketball isn't going to break any noise regulations so tell 'em to get stuffed- it's only a fortnight.

just a heads up and also highlighting a contender for a punch in the head.

Talking to a mate at Iso's this morning, last week he was out of his car checking the surf and turned around to find a lowlife trying to nick his SUP from his roofracks.
so fellas keep an eye out and look after your stuff whilst in the water or away from your gear

scary to think just how often it must occur - we have central locking and pretty diligent with ensuring that the car is locked - it just seems as every time you forget the f(*kers pounce, they just must be doing it consistently to have that rate of "success"

goodvibes, not sure what happened re the SUP. I think the dirtybag wracked off pretty quick

Some people are just arsehol*s.

My place has a 60 mtr long driveway and the next door kids use it often (without asking) as a sit down skate board run

I reckon the sound of kids laughing and having fun is Gold..

So vibes, just ignore the Fuc#er and when you see her ..tell her to "have a nice day"

Sad biatch...We had a villa over the road from a park for a few days up until yesterday & it was nice having the sound of kids playing in the background.

When I was 14 to 18 I had a 1/2 pipe made up of 2 flat 4ft x 8ft sheets of ply & concrete between. At least one friend & I would be out there every day playing on it. The clunks going from the 45 degree of wood to concrete & rolling across the wood made a hell of noise. We'd be on it for 2hrs or more with Never Mind The Bollocks & Punks Not Dead blaring away. Old neighbours on either side were always friendly, guess we were lucky. That lady needs to move to an over 55's place or something coz your kids will only get noisier...good ages to get 'em guitars & a drum set

Sydney Siders who walk down stairs and packed footpaths texting - it's like they are drunken drivers - swerving everywhere and holding everyone up whilst being completely oblivious to all around them. Last night I dealt with a lady who was texting from two phones - one in each hand (good skills) whilst exiting the ferry. Nightmare. Pull over next time please.

It's everywhere ted

This phenomena though seems to have come from left field as the GPS is a old product.

but the past two school holidays I have been getting some crazy sh1t. Peeps pulling up mid roundabout to see if they are following the GPS instructions. Same with intersections. Had a peep in a turn right lane near my house, come to a complete stop, then kangaroo hopped into top speed going straight into the car opposite him going right.

The bloke took no responsibility and was yelling at the other driver but the GPS, the GPS told me. Ricockulous how selfish and stupid people are.
