In a simple man. I believe gws have been protected for 15 years now.
with so many sighting and the seemingly increase in attacks one would assume the gws are making a very good comeback.
Question if and I say if we continue to have serious attacks every month till christmas what will happen ?
will beaches just be closed.
will the gov move to assist in deterrents
Will a cull happen
Or what - nothing happens
Attacks will increase. Whilst people are being silly and entering into the water with the sharks, how can their not be. Did you see the guy interviewed surfing at the beach whilst they flew the drone around showing two large sharks right near him. He simply went back out and said it was great, no crowds..
being silly as going surfing? you cant use the argument of going into shark known areas, as that blows all your arguments out of he water....as shark are everywhere.
ok jb give me some stats on how many attacks have occurred at netted and drum lined beaches vs the ones without......this will be intresting, and yes I know you can put spin on anything....this one im waiting for facts.
i will be intrested in what you have to say,if you do get the chance to say anything if you get eaten.....
hey its all good,i have just invested in potato farms

Cant believe your getting involved in a crap thread

Yeap nets and drum lines are the way to go.
oh the hack is so wrong on so many levels....but im stupid enough to have posted this....i would like a answer on my previous post, with proper statistics ...not his made up ones and what he thinks the sharks are thinking

Sitting at home I'm not really into getting back into your continued argument but i could just as easy list you thousands of beaches that don't have drum lines and nets that have had no attacks also.. SO really your idea that they provide protection due to a lack of attack is just as flawed.
You realise these sharks swim from thousands of KMs away. They pass hundreds of beaches that don't have nets and some that do. Its just a luck of the draw really, all be it a bad choice of description.
This year was said to be a hard session for Sharks on your side of the country. It was predicted this could happen after all the heavy rains flushed river system, smaller fish and changed water salinities around rivers and would result in higher bait fish and therefor more sharks.
Two years ago you guys were saying the East coast is so safe because we use nets and drums. Well look now and see who is having the attacks, even though you have used nets and drums for decades. There not the answer is so says all the experts
