WA is still waiting for a "roadmap". We are supposed to get one my the end of the weekend. We went 8 days without a positive test, but got one overnight. Hopefully it doesn't effect the decision to phase down restrictions too much.
I was reading the other day your premier was looking at lifting your restrictions faster then the east coast states because of your lower numbers . unfortunately the Ruby Princess ****ed us
There really isn't any reason atm for us not to go ahead. The person tested positive returned from overseas & has been quarantined in a hotel since they arrived.
Our roadmap will most likely be very similar to yours only we will most likely still have borders within our borders. There's been a lot of people calling for that to end but he hasn't hinted at removing that restriction in the first stage. I think it will mainly be about letting previously restricted biz to open again provided they can maintain distancing.
The sooner the economy gets somewhat back on tract the better. Its pretty much my main concern & frustration. Not because I want to go to the pub for a beer, but because of inconsistency in what is & isn't allowed has not been consistent & bad for the economy.
Otherwise nothing really effects me until at least state borders are reopened between states of a similar pandemic situation.
