Yeah hands on services like massage, hairdressing & services offered by a nail salon are poor examples of what businesses could possibly have remained open or be opened now. Basically businesses that are essentially literally hands on...but many businesses have closed that have similarities to Woolies/Coles that were forced to close due to not being labelled as essential that could have employed the same strategy to prevent infection.

That is the point many people are making.

Or the fact a bunch of Billionaires got together in 2010 to discuss how the worlds population could be decreased through a pandemic & the contents of that meeting were revealed to the public. Imagine what is said behind closed doors...I personally believe this was just a test run, Pandemic 1. I'm expecting a Pandemic 2 in the not to distant future which will be truly dangerous. Not only contagious but also deadly which this one is clearly not unless your elderly or have an immunity deficiency.

What we can do is consider it a trial run for us also & prepare. Just have a decent "prepper" stock of food, water (pref water tank), & other essentials outlined by one of the countless "prepper survival" sites. Its pretty cheap while/when stocks are available.
