Saw the footage of Burleigh Hill yesterday, I'm sure I saw Lacey & Mac there and certainly within 1.5m of each other sharing a bottle of wine.

Most likely none of them unless they were old and with co-morbidities. Sure they might have passed it on to oldies with co-morbidities and they may have karked it. Meanwhile here the people are fully out and about on the beaches, esplanades and chowing down food at the outdoor seating section of the Alex hdld surfclub and it looks for all intents and purposes like no one gives a crap any more.

The elderly are at risk. They are the vunerable group of people. I'm trying to find how much money was allocated to specifically to protect and care for them .

Anyone got something?

The government supported organisations caring for the elderly/disabled/mentally ill with money you could apply for if your employee was self isolating due to possibly having C19.

Meaning if you had any symptoms, you were asked to stay home for 2 weeks & you would not use your own sick/personal leave. The organisation would then apply to be subsidised to cover the leave. This was to ensure people did not feel compelled to go to work for financial necessity.

You were not required to go & get tested unless your symptoms worsened. Once you felt better you returned to work or I don't what happened after that if you still felt sick, coz I don't know anyone that had more than 2 weeks off.

Unfortunately I recovered from a cold a week or 2 before the policy came into effect. I did get a bonus the other week for not getting sick though.

Sorry I can't give you a $$$ for it, but things like that along with a big decrease in tax revenue. We're gonna be paying off a huge debt after this, that if it even ends. Its going to take a big rethink on how we react to pandemics to avoid it happening again soon. If we keep responding like this the worlds going to be farked.

That is lame lacey

Looking around where ?

Stick to facebook mate, they love all your questions and faux innuendo outrage which you try to pose as thoughtful question

And before you get upset, why not do as i tried to suggest to you, you know ask the people making the decisions and spending the money....you know ,hear it straight from the horses mouth...not bloody hard and far easier than looking around for your needle in the haystack tactics

But that stops the drama and the outrage

I am going to defeat facebook by starting boomerbook

That is why we the useless voter needs to start making our elected leaders accountable and start making big business pay tax...would be no financial problem for our future then
