Saw a doco a couple of weeks back about superbugs, scary scary stuff

They looked inside the DNA of one called MRSA ( the SA bit just says it's a very common Bactria, the MR bit says it's Resistant to a Methicillan) and what they found was that we got it from our domestic pigs.
No problem there, many of our diseases come from the amimals we domesticated, what was scary was the fact that when they looked further into the DNA, they found that the SA (Staphylococcus aureus) had originally started out in the pigs as the relatively harmless type, it was because we feed the pigs so many antibiotics that we ourselves cause it to become MR.
