on another note - thats very much unrelated to my previous rant I would just like to say that although Benji has not had a great year for the Tigers on the paddock he is travelling beautifully off the park

Yes Benji is doing quite well off the park, on blokes doing well off the park, Who did Mitchell go with?

Roosters sack Smith and target Bellamy.
Bellamy is asking $1.3 per season.
That's good coin.

Wasn't Smith under contract for another year .

Who would be a 1 st grade coach these days . Job security there is none .

he would have got himself a nice handshake.....it maybe a shaky job but how many jobs are out there where you can perform poorly and still get paid out of your contract....their agents do a good job for them. I can not believe that there is not more of a corporate view point taken - you perform you get paid if you don't you are out the door - without getting paid.

What gets me though is the team underperforms , the coach is sacked , yet the players who are the under performers get to roll on again next season .
eg. In the kite flying room Chris Judd has had a shocker this year IMO for the blues , yet next year he is still collecting a huge wage while the coach has been shown the door .

Have to agree Tas, the blue boys had what, 5/6 wins straight, dropped a couple of games they probably banked on ie: Gold Coast and the Rat gets a-holed, makes you wonder who is running the show ....

Same Mac.
I don't reckon I've been more excited about a game which both teams mean fark all to me. Can't even predict how the game will go - which makes it very exciting.
