Im happy with a 10....
The pit and first turn were good enough after the other scores.

Well worth watching the heat replay. Really good surfing.. Better then a lot of the blokes events this year.

forecast looks good for the first day at Pipe...if your into triple overhead

Tuesday is looking very promising for Pipe to be very good, especially over the afternoon – Building, long period, westerly energy, which Pipe loves. Pipe will already start out with overhead sets in the morning, picking up with double to triple overhead sets over the afternoon, and possibly even bigger waves showing on occasion before dark.

Anyone else think parko Has lost the drive to win after the title?

Or is he just having a shiy year or are the new gen of tour surfers taking over???

I think he just doesn't have the new school tricks in his portfolio of weaponry and that is his problem these days. When its all about good quality waves and flowing turns he is still the nicest to watch eg JBay Fiji etc but the world has changed - look at what GM and JJF and FT do on a wave these days. Things have moved on. He has had a fantastic career though and has always been one of the most stylish surfers ever to have graced the ocean. Legend.

That 2nd semi was a Cracker!!!

Great to see a comp where the surfers get plenty of waves, plenty of chances instead of watching a 30 min heat with 4 waves...

Hasnt worried his mate mf- the new wave. Shooting of a world title.

he got his world crown just didnt have the drive after that.

Well done to supergrom Jack Robinson. Unreal result for him this morning. That pit on his first wave in the final was insane.
