Don't get too exited if he stalked you from sea breeze you may end up meeting a grotty yachty not that I'm saying they are all grotty yachtis here but I do know stuff!

Thanks Southace...I appreciate that. I'm definitely keeping a reserve on my excitement. Last yachty who asked me out for a drink canceled half an hour before. ..when I was all scrubbed up ready, with no explanation. .just a text message. I figure I dodged a bullet with that one. I am the perpetual optimist.

Hope he's nice and not a grumpy old know it all. When he's standing on your boat n says "can I see your downstairs area?".....or "nice cockpit".....kick him straight off mcnorty!!!

I got stalked for two years by the last person I met after I called off the relationship as I was discovering we had increasingly less in common and he wanted me to support him so he did not have to work any longer (yes their out there

), good to be optimistic but also be cautious, like Southace said, enjoy your boat and friends primarily, yotties can be the best, good luck.

What a loser... and happy to meet you Meg... another female woohoo!! I might just end up sailing with me and my girlfriends yet... and my sons.

but I am a bit of a hopeless romantic to my detriment at times.

A perfect man on land is not nececceserily good on board.
Read my favorit book. " A fright A day " from Judith Thomson .
I simply relate to him, that's how you survive / enjoy / cruising around.

Seems like I got excited too soon..He must have read this and got a fright...lol...he's stopped talking to me all of a sudden. Maybe he got lost at sea...maybe he's sitting on the bottom out beyond the continental shelf....
