Which place was it that was reporting greater than 100% vaccination rates because they were also vaccinating tourists/foreigners/random people they captured on the street? Israel?
Yeah, fair enough. WA has probably administered the vax to loads and loads of people day tripping there whilst the borders were closed from all the adjacent very highly populated areas that are very sparsely populated. I mean if I lived on the sunshine coast I sure as hell would pop over to WA via the closed border for the morning to get a free vax that I could also get on the sunshine coast. Makes so much sense. The comparison with Gibraltar really cleared that one up.
Oh and in regard to the triple vax if you enter WA from Adelaide but double vaxed if you enter from Bali, yep that makes soooo much sense as well.
I mean if you accept the commonwealth / federal requirements for overseas arrivals there would be no logical reason to mirror that for domestic interstate arrivals.
I mean having one consistent rule would mean you wouldn't have to employ all your front line cops in stupid little booths in the airport checking to see if somebody had a third vax that is effective for 30 days at least 90 days ago.
What if somebody arrives in WA from NZ, but transited through Brisbane airport ? Double or triple for them ?
Maybe if they arrive into Karratha and put the international flight number on their card then double vax is fine, but if it is a code share flight and they put the domestic flight number on the card, then the same person would pose too much of a risk and would need to be triple vaxed.
Yeah your right again FN. These legislators that make the rules are only human and can't be expected to make any sensible rules, after all they aren't even employed not to do this or not experienced in not doing such things.
Incompetence in elected and government officials paid by the tax payer should never be criticized. Whatever next ? Competence ....??? pffft imagine that...
