Children's Health? He won't be able to take any action against the actual biggest killers of Kids in the USA.

Vaccines? Funny how he's been silent about them since hitching his wagon to Trumps campaign? No a word about Vaccines and their regulati, it's actually turned some of his supporters against him. They believed he was going to save America from these poisons, but instead he is keeping his mouth shut so that he doesn't taint Trumps campaign with full bore anti vaxx craziness.

With all the division, the US comes across as very tense. Both sides appear to have a deep mistrust of each other. I wonder what it will take to see both sides coming together and work through the differences. Maybe they need Trump to win and destroy their economy.

I'm glad I'm far away, and could imagine why plenty of Americans are considering leaving.

If Trump gets another run, it will be decades before the US becomes a great country again. I spend quite a bit of time in California, hopefully they will continue to be a great state.

If Trump wins, the Ukraine is screwed and he'll cancel the AUKUS deal. Australia will have no submarines as China continues its expansion.

I think current windsurfing equipment is far better than even 10 years ago. My bank account is far better today than just 4 years ago. I'm proud of how well my kids are growing up to be polite intelligent respectful responsible adults. No, I'm very happy in the present. But thank you for your concern about my well being.

What's wrong if he wants to return to the "good old days" when the USA had governments that believed in;

1- expansion of social security;
2- broadened coverage in unemployment insurance;
3- improved housing;
4- better health protection for all people;
5- the most widely shared economic benefits ever seen;
6- recognition of organised labour;
7- a higher minimum wage;
8- government assistance to workers with special employment problems, such as older workers, handicapped workers, members of minority groups, and migratory workers
9 - CEOs earning about 20 times as much as the average instead of 200 to 400 times as much.

Do those sound like bad things to return to?

Might be wrong but I think the famous (or infamous) modern CEO uber-wealth comes predominantly not from mega salaries, but from having a significant shareholding in the company. Generally they are the poeple who started the company and have remained as major shareholders and CEO after stockmarket listing.

Their wealth is then primarily driven by selling a company they remain in charge of, and then from other people piling into the shares, sending the share price soaring and so inflating whatever bonus and stock wealth the CEO has.

Zuckerberg for example earns $1 per year salary as Meta CEO. I'd suggest therefore his wealth comes not from stealing the effort his employees put in, but from stockmarket traders speculating on the share value.
