Has anyone who has owned or ridden the Konrad LX foils moved onto, or at least tried the Surge?
Really curious to hear your thoughts.
Yes. I have the LX970 (although it structurally failed after about 8 months.) and now have the surge 950 and 830.
Surge is better in every way so far in my opinion - more pitch stability through speed range, breaches way better, nicer roll feel, and I can be confident it won't break from pumping around like the LX970 did - Axis build quality is excellent and far far superior to LX in my view.
Actually there is one benefit to the LX - tips are blunt. surge tips are quite sharp.
Does the 950 Surge get up onto foil quicker than the LX970 or similar?
Yes, keen to know the answer to this as well. For me at 85kg, on the standard motor foil drive, the LX 970 gets up earlier than my V2 999, wondering where the Surge 950 would fit in for getting up on foil....
