I wouldn't want a board with a tuttle, tracks are far better. Plus the F-one dimensions are a little odd, longer and narrower for a given volume.

I got the XL Curve (was the Pro) which is 1900cm2 medium aspect. I just sort of guessed based on windfoiling with a 1700cm2 foil. It may be a little advanced for me, time will tell.

My intent for the mast base was something machined from G10 then installed with high strength velcro. Windfoiling doesn't create much in the way of force on the mast base, especially using a mechanical u-joint.

Anyone make a Gong adapter to Axis or Slingshot mast yet?

Why not use the slingshot supwinder as a mast track. I have one under my sup for winging, seems pretty robust so far and should work with reasonable mast foot forces...

In the pictures on the page can see the windfoil use.

Interesting that they include the DT box on the board - and with the fixed position mast insert, windfoiling with DT foil is surely only reserved for a SB foil system. Fixed foil + fixed mast position allows for little adjustment.

Since the deep tuttle is going the way of the dodo bird, and tracks are the future, why not get a board with both? That way you can keep using your DT foil until you later upgrade to something newer and better.

Some boards now have both. My Fanatic Stingray has both. A few others as well.

I wish Slingshot had put a lease attachment at the rear of its new wind/wing foiling boards. Those boards sure look like fun!

Tie a loop to the rear footstrap. Leash to that, of course.

Answer: no. I met Greg, and he is Slingshot, not Fanatic, that I know of. He is a most excellent freeride foiler. See this:

I'm hoping that my Tabou Pocket Air 6'2" will do both. Already use it with SS Infinity 76. Need 3 sessions to get dialed in (mast max to the front, straps all to front, foil in B position and in back of the US box). First time when I tried this combo I couldn't belive that foiling can be so hard again (I'm foiling for 4 years, have Starboard Race setup and had Fanatic Stubby Foil with SS 76 as fun combo, doing jibes and duck jibes, trying 360). Got Pocket Air as replacement for broken Stubby Foil and for the first two sessions I couldn't ride normally. Needed a lot of experiment to get dialed in. Then sold SS 76 and got as one for all solution JP FSW 103 LXT with Powerbox Foilbox and NP Glide Slim M. Waiting for US Box adapter for using Glide on Pocket Air and hoping that this will be all in one foiling solution. BTW: JP FSW with foil is fun, now I use one sail, one board an only change fin for foil :).

I'm looking forward for your review! I think I'm going to buy that board also, to compliment my starboard hypernut 4 in 1, that I'm constantly destroying due to winging crashes , just to have a replacement while the other is repairing (p.d.: I'm a destroyer I know )

Starboard make pretty durable products, what exactly is it that you are doing? I would have thought winging would be easier on gear than windfoiling.

Hypernut 4 in 1 got a carbon reinforcement in the whole rail, unless in the fishtail.

I break that fishtail three times but I still don't get how I crack it, maybe with my knees when I fall, board leash hard swings... I still don't know.

It's quite curious, and annoying.

I am fairly confident that he was joking based on the question. I think many know Greg, seeing him in the Hood River or Lake Mojave.

I see. My arse popped a tail rail on an old sup once. Windsurfing we rarely seem to fall onto the board, I guess with winging this is more common?

I have used it in windfoilig mode, it works with SS Infinity 76, but only when I found the right (for me) setup. Now I wait for Pryde US Box adapter since I have sold SS and bought Pryde Glide Slim M foil. I don't have doubts that it will work OK in wingfoiling mode, since is similar to all wingfoil boards on market and also on Tabou pages are photos only in this mode. For me it was vital, that I can make it work in windfoiling mode (but to be fair, I'm a little unhappy that I didn't take Magic Carpent 110 instead). I belive that it would be better option for windfoiling and also useble for wingfoilig (for me it seems that Pocket Air is made for wingfoiling and also usable for windfoilig).

Right now for me is maybe 75% wing - 25% wind.

But I don't want a full wing board, because I found wings fragile, and being able to use a sail in case of wing burst is a big plus.

like windsurfing, wingding has also it'gold rules:
-wind: Never let go the boom!
-wing: Never let the foilboard flipped upwards!
