Couple weeks ago, I switched from stock Naish 1220 to the 600 kitesurf wing.
Other than maybe 2mph more speed needed, I find almost no difference.
With 4.5 sails, still overpowered in gusts of 20.
Still easily flies in 13, same 4.5 sail.
Might take 2 more pumps, but that's easy.
160 lbs.

You could look at getting the Naish Titan which has a powerbox and twin tracks. Or just get a board with tuttle box.
The Fanatic Blast is considered a good freeride that also foils.

Guys I know who've put fins in their foil boards like the Dialer etc don't find they work well.

Hi I decided to buy a 2018 Starboard foil 147 board and fin from a local shop. It is the Technora version with a deep Tuttle box and its foil ready apparently. Just need to get a rig now.

Moving my back foot an inch forward would put me in balance. However if I maintain my stance and move the sail mast forward or increase the height of the boom it would do the same thing. I was shocked that I didn't have to adjust anything when foiling the i99 (same mast base, same foot strap, same boom height etc).

I also find when using the 48 rear wing it needs much more back foot pressure and can feel a bit "draggy" and that's why I prefer the i99/42 in B position (on the wizard 125).

The i99/42 has a balanced feeling and turns faster in the gybes.. But again it is personal preference as my foiling bud swears by the i99 with 48 rear in position C and he foils just as well.

I do have to use the full body pump when using it in sub 10 mph with a 5.8 (I weigh 205 lbs/92 kg) but once the i99 hooks in, it keeps on motoring....you will love that wing for super light airs.

I have the i76 and JP 150 2019 foil board, but am considering adding the i99 for very light wind days. Will that work ok with the board, I see a lot of commentary about Slingshot's statement that it will only work with their Levitator, and the discussions about B and C fuse positions, and the 48 vs 42 stab.

I'm a very beginner but so far I can say that the Fanatic Blast works very well with a foil. Before buying I compared the mast track, footstraps and fin bolt positions with the Fanatic Sting Ray and they were essentially the same as the Blast. I haven't had any problems getting a sustained level flight with my Blast, and that's after two intro sessions in light wind and two sessions in 16-20 knots. The Blast is narrow compared to foil boards so I guess that will affect low end capabilities and require more pumping.
