ok there should be a thread about surfstich as well...but this way better.

After watching the clips, then listening to what the riders had to say, well i think most of us were right.

But a lot of crew were bagging it. I can say after seeing nat young and carissa etc faces in the interview....lads i cant farken wait to surf it,even if its a one only

Thanks for posting that Chrispy - been off the net the last few days so missed this. I wonder why KS chose those three? Knowing him there would have been some solid reasoning behind those choices.

Loved this comment

"The wave quality is there, so I don't see why not... But, you'd have to make the wave a little worse. Guys can't just be getting barreled the whole time."

I must say I am still super excited by it but maybe not as much - but then it is only version 1.0. Ini wonder what that wall thing is that you get a hint of in some of those clips?

So it basically needs a small bit of variation and then we will have the ultimate rippable wall to play on. Hope I get to play in one of these pools soon.

Geez I'm sick of seeing this wave posted all over the net its too perfect a wave for the average Joe I think.

People are talking about helping reduce the crowds but if they make these things in the middle of nowhere were
the land is cheap and it takes an hour or more away from the coastline its not going to reduce the crowds IMO,
Oh yeah lets do a road trip to the wave pool and make a weekend of it,I can't see it and it will be like a pair of
fake tits

As they were saying, the wave atm is for advanced surfers....so when they do make it less perfect i will be so onto it.

The moves people will pulling after surfing that thing for 6 months straight will blow the air and technical surfing that we have watched progress over the last 15 years.

It will be just like skating because a single trick can be practised endlessly . My mind boggles....

me i would so happy to get a 30m second tube ride

Beginners might struggle on a set up like this, but I'm sure it can be made less intense with a press of a button, the BIG Q is, how intense can it be made?

Theres talk to include it on the DREAM TOUR, the sooner the better imo.

Crank it up FULL THROTTLE!

What is it that makes it suitable for advanced surfers more so than average Joe's

Is it to do with the speed

Excuse my ignorance, but it looks super smooth IMHO

I'd say we have seen it at its most intense, which is not that intense really...perfect, awesome, epic. But not really intense. Pipe is intense, G-land is intense, some of those farking photo's Ted has teased us with are intense. This just looks super fun

I'm sure they could scale it up based on the same design, sky being the limit or really just whatever is generating those waves.

Reminds me of a wave I used to surf......on the Commodore 64 computer, a game called Californian Games has a surfing part which was all I played. You could get bazzed the whole time, go for all kinds of airs, go smashing it up down the line or a mix of everything. The wave was mechanical, just peeling. So you didn't have to read it. Just time stuff to get in the right positions. That would make it a pretty easy wave provided the take off wasn't...well ok, too intense

I'll re word my question. What makes it more suited for an Advanced long boarder, instead of a a intermediate long boarder

Technically their is also talk of a back wash from the wave and it not allowing for enough ridable waves per minute to make it economically viable.. Their really is a fair share of hate for it on social media.. I recon it looks amazing A bit cold, maybe they could heat the water
