Start another crowd funding page Roy, one where you promise to shut up and stop polluting every known surfing forum in existence, in exchange for money. I would contribute to that one over and over If it meant never having to put up with your crap Boards, fins and my sh@t doesn't stink attitude again.

This is bit like standing in the outer at the MCG In 1990. Watching the footy ,listening to some guy screaming out stuff at the players .

With all and sundry cringing at every insult and obscenity .

At the end of the game the bloke walks of into the crowd alone ,still shouting at no one .

And next week he will be standing in the same spot , screaming , with the same people cringing .

I know I am an old silly prick but an easy way to shut a person up is to Not respond.

though I don't think this would work as you blokes reply for the sport.

I don't think so.....seeing is believing....your boards catch waves(small ones on youtube).....we want to see them in REAL waves

All waves are real and I've tested the boards in waves up to around 24 feet.

I'd assume there would be some video of this? If you were testing a board in 24' waves you'd surely want that captured to show how good the board performed?

At the time I was surfing every day but had no telephone, electricity, or cameras.

From the first 24 years of surfing I had only one picture... taken at Raglan on a double overhead day shot by a friend, I was riding a 6'6" singlefin.

Hardly, since you'd have to include fthe crowd following the guy around just so that they can cringe.

If there's a footy game in this thread then please let me know.

It's paid off well so far Mr Wise Guy.

There'd be nothing more disgusting than the products of a good PR guy... perish the thought I'm not a politician.

All right after 4 pages I only have 1 question.

How wide are these boards???

The only reason I ask, is because from the pics on page 1 these look pretty wide.

They look wider than my 6'4" arm-span could paddle anyway.

And no I am not trying to take the piss "so to speak" I am asking a serious question, so I would hope to get a serious reply from anyone that can answer.

Thanks.

The board on page one is 24", the original 'Ghost' design from 1997 is 23" and the eleven footers I'm doing now are 22.25" to 23".

My arm span is probably slightly less than yours and I've been paddling 27" wide boards since about 2001, with no issues at all.

Judging by the way most surfers attempt to measure waves, the statement above is almost meaningless, at the very least it is unclear what it means.

I say go because once you're in the water you may feel pretty good. Healing ocean and all that.
If you go and just watch it may do your spirits well to see good waves running down the point as well.

Yeah true, it's a hard one to let slip by unridden, should be sunny and light winds too.

Not yet. That Cow Bombie is pretty insane on the takeoff. I noticed that a few had problems setting a rail and turning their boards too.

Maybe thats because they were going like warp nine and possibly a little stiff sh-tting themselves, if they had any sense anyway

That's the point, those boards change their handling as they go faster, and not in a good way... they stiffen up, lock in, get tail centric and out of balance.

In other words they just 'aint so good.

At least we can see what their boards do on a big wave.....I say your boards have too much rocker...too pointy a tail...are too wide...too thick... and wobble around like a large womans bottom
