No it didn't (Greetings Kayu)??????.....ASSume nothing

please DONT associate me with him....

your symmetrical ghost model is simply a 40/50s toothpick ....yes you have tweaked rails and rocker and have used modern materials

as I suggested, assemble your "team" at a big swell location with whatever boards you've got

and use some of that $qillion, you got for that woody

Bullsh!t to that.

Rails, rocker, planshape, profile, volume, thickness, fins, weight, materials... all different.

Ergo it barely resembles a toothpick at all, and the design isn't even based on a toothpick.

You are just attempting the old 'nothing to see here nothing new under the sun' tripe and I already pointed out the fact that similarities and differences can be found between any two objects, even a flea and a Ferrari have an infinite number of attributes in common, but is a Ferrari just a tweaked flea?

An impressive analysis, which reduces the alleged ridiculousness of the thread considerably.

I'll leave you to have the last word and I will reframe from posting in this thread you have more
important things to do than disagree with this lowlife

Hi Roy as suggested earlier why don't you just make a board and get one of the team to test it out in giant waves ,why go to all this team stuff with 40 boards,if they work Im sure you'll get 40 orders ,if they don't you haven't wasted you're time building them all.Im so interested to see them ridden but at this rate it doesn't seem likely to happen on the scale you're chasing.Ive seen crowd funding garner $400,000 in ten days and their target was a mere $70,000.Also what happened to Camels board that you were shaping, did he get his hands on it?

Other than the fact they have some great emoticons nothing really new. At one point Camel was quoted from another forum and eventually it turns to insulting Roys wife, i think I'm not 100% sure myself and i read them all Why i have no idea, i guess i was bored..

"if they don't" ??

Of course they work, I'm not doing this to see if they work and will be building them as long as I live, for myself and others.

The aim is to get them to the very top.

We'll see what happens, as you say the crowdfunding is slow ( it just doubled this evening though) but there's always a plan B.

I have a ten footer done, and three 11 footers basically ready for glassing plus a fourth 11 footer to come. For the top end paddle in they might need more volume but will cover some pretty massive waves with the existing volume ( around 70 litres).

That 'Flowhive' campaign was pretty amazing ( is that the one you are referring to as they asked for $70k?) I reckon that they deserve it, a fantastic product and a very nicely presented, heart warming campaign too.

All waves are real and I've tested the boards in waves up to around 24 feet.

Anyway I understand that you'd like to see them used in seriously large surf with top pilots on board and so do I.

My 'you are trolling' response was due to your idiotic 'toothpick copy' BS... which, ironically, is itself copied from another member's post.

If you are keen to see them in 'REAL' waves then contributing a buck would bring it closer to reality.

Yeah,It was the flow hive and pretty impressive response for a fantastic concept, theres still a percentage of doubters regarding certain aspects of it and the designers responded to any criticism in a really professional manner which was good to see.Hope you get the boards ready for surfing soon,so keen to see how they go in the hands of the big wave chargers

Roy , this is a serious question . how can you justify asking $27000 for a f/glass surfboard ?

and $1000000 for a timber surfboard ? Is it a massive typo too many zeros ?

cost breakdown ? labour, material , profit margin ?

I'm resisting communism.

Funny how so many forumites are only interested in the money.

It's ok to ignore and go back to playing fantasysurfer or slobbering over the next generic mal.

Ok Roy , good luck with that business plan .
