I took a 3 month loss of licence against accumulated points and Allianz ditched me despite no claims ever. NRMA insured me (with a higher excess) straight up.

I'm just ticked off the low life scum didn't utilise the fact he had our room key & come that night to try & rob some more gear off us, I guarantee the scene would have looked like a Tarantino movie.

Apart from that & a nasty head cold it was a good weekend, thanks fellas & Blair for funding it.

A plug for the Byron cops too, nice blokes who were as helpful as they could be.

I got of the plane at Cooly airport 9.30am by 10am was on the road to Byron (G C airport is good to get through ).First stop was Mcts of course , so I walk through the door there's me board sitting on the stand ,looked at Dave and said so there's been someone looking at this hasn't there witch he confirmed Grapped the board and had some lunch drove round looking for any one I might know Found where we were staying and unloaded settled mumzee in and went to have a look at the surf ended up at the Pass , I thought new board gotta get it wet started waxing , this properly took 20mins or more there were heaps of people around bus load of school kids ETC didn't see anyone shady that I could remember . As I was just finishing of I noticed a certain vehicle come down the hill , of course I didn't know it was you guys but you did sort of stick out .So I suited up and went to get a parking ticket when I heard someone calling my name from this vehicle bugger me it was the prez so the rest is history . I enjoyed the surf, meeting everyone Ted Blair Vanders it was great I had had an early start so I got out of the water after an hour and a half ,got up to the car park and saw the car had gone scratched my head and thought one of the boys had shot of in it (which happen with Blair when we had surf on Saturday )I said to mummzee that I hoped this was the case when I got home . I to was using a surf lock hanging of the drivers door handle guess an I 40 wasn't good enough for them .The thing that I find a bit creepy was that these scum were watching every thing that we did , while there I saw people hiding keys behind wheels etc so you gotta say they selective . So for me this time Byron kind of sucked

Sorry I did not get to see you again the following morning TB - those tiny waves do nothing for me so I stayed in bed (also had a late night). I much appreciate that you brought me over the marmite and I was unable to get it. Your new board looks super duper in the flesh and on a wave. You were dominating the wider ones that arvo. I hope it continues to give you good service.
