Cheers mate I told all the staff to stay home today,the river and creeks are flooding and they say the weather will be twice as bad tonight,schools shopping centres flooded the water out the back is now in my backyard but our house is high fingers crossed,our floating pontoon with boat attached is hanging in there but the water is going up by the hour.

Morning all .... looks like the rain has ceased , remnants of the wind still sticking around - the Tweed Valley copped it all the way down to Lissy , doesn't look nice heaps of water

Trying to get hold of the Godfather - he's on the canals too geez

I think he could be in trouble on the tweed river, escaped a bullet last night lived here for 16 years and never seen the waterway come up this high, I have friends just down the road who have had 3 brown snakes wash up on their backyard others who's pools have gone under. Here is my backyard.

edit - Asea is good however the high tide is due at midday.

Hope everyone stayed safe. Heard on Triple J last night a guy who got stuck on Hamilton Island. Scary stuff.

Knee board monday at the point......a couple of visitors on knee boards today.
They were waiting for the big sets......but completely clueless as to where the take off spots were when the big sets got there
