You got to like the way the wave builds up and travels for 2 or 3 hundred feet threatening to break.......and then it does

May be get another tomorrow before the easterly kicks in .

Imagine how busy it would be just 60 mins south fellas - no names required

You could also have a hot swim after - I have seen Gizzie wearing both a steamer and booties - its Feb for crying out load ! ! No wonder people like me do not move home

The water is warm Ted it just don't feel right if you don't have a wettie

same with booties

grind the sh!t out of my toes if I don't

I even surf Hawaii with my winter Booties you know Corel infection say no more

How are you getting on any way on the mend I hope . The Tec guys I'm working with at work are from Hastings , they been here for three months , think they are ready to go home

Why would you want to go back to Hastings

Leg on the mend thanks - but very slowly. Right direction though and progress is being made. My sister messaged me earlier to tell me that her and the kids had just got back home from a day out want want to put the fire on its so cold! We need the air con here. Ahhh.

Once you are in the habitat of wetsuit its a hard one to break - same when the early autumn chills come through and you need to change back. I hate wearing wetsuits these days. But alas I will be wearing one again soon.

just wear a wettie to cope with scrapes and abrasions myself. Giz water 19.4 C 67 degrees Fahrenheit today.....And its not my cup of tea but maybe towball will be there tomorrow......styling it with all the other cool dudes

Good morning Pup was going to go the super early but the tide was too full so ripped into an early morning work load to clear the decks for a possible after lunch surf if the prez is keen.

Good morning I had some nice ones down at big river. Gizzie is not a fan of this place it can be kick arse

Suspect he went to look at "the big river"........waikanae kiddies corner had a few tiny fast breaking rights when i went there later.......the swell must have been totally coming from the south......my 666 learner friend caught 4 or 5 waves standing up
