We had an Australian mate who married a kiwi chick - his view was if he was good at cricket he would play for NZ n good at rugby Australia - as easier to break into the national team

Just get the kid to say "fish & chips".
That'll settle it.

Hey Ted it could be interesting to see what the squad looks like if NSW cop the pineapple in Game I .... then again if QLD get mounted by the 8 legged bluebugs will Smellmefinger wring the changes of youth ..... ahhhhh Origin nuthin' like it

QLD is paying $4.75 for 13+ margin.

I think Queensland should win this series easily. But going forward I am very concerned about the ageing squad There is going to be a huge lot of in experienced kids in the next few years if they are not careful. They should be blooding a few more fellas now

Agree Ted aging, but i'd hate to be tackling those blues forwards all night long if they get a roll on,doesn't leave much energy in the tank to attack.

I am not a punter by nature but have been known to have the odd flutter.
I'm going to put $200 on a margin bet for tomorrow nights game but undecided where to put it so I'm enlisting the help of the Greenroom.
Here are my options.

NSW 1-12 $2.95
NSW 13+ $7.50

QLD 1-12 $2.75
QLD $4.25

Forget loyalty for a moment and tell me where you would put it.
I will purchase the ticket tomorrow arvo and post with my fingers crossed.

Not a lot of takers, Scotty. I reckon this match has a lot of us completely bamboozled as to what we might see.

If it was my money, I'd have it on Qld head-to-head at $1.70 or so. But that's not on your list, and it's your money, so I'll say Qld 13 plus.

Now, I've just got to stop thinking about how that ageing Aussie side full of big names got spanked by that (relatively) youthful bunch of Kiwis. Makes me a nervous Qlder.

Yes wave a pi55 poor effort from the Greenroom - no help there.
I must admit it's stuffed up my day a bit thinking about this. I'm either going 1-12 blues or 13+ QLD.
I'll be barracking hard for the blues as usual.
It's just a money earner (I hope) to cover an up and coming short trip away or towards it at least.
I've only had 2 big bets in my life - $300 on 2014 GF for $1150 return & $1000 on Brazil in 2002 soccer WC for $2200 return so I'm far from a regular punter.
