Have a look at the broken jaw tackle he did on Sam T and Sam burgess and tell me the difference.

Riddles please explain All I saw on the news was Sam's broken eye socket from a head clash.

look at the tackle the dog did on Sam Thaiday its a copybook on Sam burgess in the souths GF,,,,the NRL refs spoke with the grub asked him to stop this style of tackling or he would be rubbed out.
problem is its under international refs and he would know that

Thaiday was taken to hospital midway through the second half after being caught by the head of England's James Graham in Australia's 38-16 win at the London Stadium early on Monday (AEDT).It is the second time Graham's head has caused a serious injury to an opponent with England teammate Sam Burgess suffering the same injury during the 2014 NRL grand final

We finally let you have a winning year in league. Enjoy it whilst you can. Meanwhile I will bask in the glory of rugby and your poor cricket team.  That brings me more joy than you can ever imagine

Yeah was our b team wait till we get Foran & shek plus a few others back on board ..... .....f...k i'll be glad when Thurston Inglis Cronk etc retire ...

There was also this from Gideon Haigh in Wisden back in 2005, when Australian cricket still felt content with itself:

There are strains in Australian cricket, too, that are deeper and longer-term. For much of the country’s cricket history, for example, the first grade or district clubs has been the game’s principal organising unit, talent nursery and social institution...

But the reality is that Test players now have precious little to do with their clubs, and nor, increasingly, do promising juniors, given the sophistication of youth cricket programs designed to identify and incubate talent. The implications of this steadily attenuating connection between cricket’s higher and lower levels, with a concentration of riches and resources in the elite game may not be apprehended for a generation.

Same as why the under 20 was a failure to a certain extent as well. They need to play week in week out against men...

I couldn't get into the game has it lost its zing like the 9's? hardy the best of the NRL running around last night.

Just read a recent All Black Sione Lauaki has passed away at 35 , I remember this fella shredding us only a few years back , way too early
