Maybe, but a least we've got a international Test to look forward to & a World Cup competition , then the English Super league if you want .
Mean while back in Vic AFL blinkered world you can look forward to a long hot summer watching RERUNS of previous games cause that's all your've got .....!!

I'm always lost for a couple of weeks after the GF and struggle to adjust with no footy on the box.
But I manage (refer to 'what wine are you drinking tonight')

Yeah no decent sport for 6 months cricket does my head in,don't mind a decent game of soccer once in a while ,but at the moment I'm amping for a 23rd october takeoff to nth sumatra for a surf trip, just trying to nut out what boards to take as back ups -****n totally frothing ,packed everything else already

Sorry if thats the way it has impacted on you Tux I get it,but maybe you have been given the crap side of the news on the NRL. Granted the other codes are better educated and the NRL is behind sadly.

I'm always lost for a couple of weeks after the NRL season is over. Thank God Australian Survivor is getting very interesting.

Just on the NRL 2017 predictor - you can draw a line through the Broncos. They will really struggle without Parker and Wallace and perhaps Hunt next year (if the rumours are true). moga isn't an ideal buy as I was hoping a Hunt / RADRADRA swap was on the cards. SEMI and Milf combining would be great to watch. Still the issue with the Broncos is a pack that won't create second phase play and will struggle to bend the line. It's very hard for guys like Milford to fire when the pack isn't going forward. Might make the eight but not counting on it.

I reckon the Titans will make the eight - all comes down to who they lose and who they secure. Bird leaving isn't a massively loss and surely there's a market for how long into his contract he plays in super league.

the broncs recruiting is different now, they've lost great recruiters + they don't pull "young"players like the old days
when only NRL team in QLD.
i noticed some great Local lads at the cowboys this year,,years ago broncs would sign and keep them on the back burner.
