Thanks SP - that was a great way to spend my lunch break eating a kebab ! What a top quality read. Personally I think that is a pretty farrrked repair. I could do it better than that. If that was my $850 board I would have taken it to our local guy Bucko and it would probably have come back almost perfect and would have cost a lot less than some of the numbers they were quoting there. Some people really have no idea of what is involved and what is not. Great passionate discussion though - especially liked this

I deplore this customer is always right bull****. Customer is sometimes a dickhead. I used to work in a little cafe/restuarant in Noosa. If a customer was being a dickhead Chef used to come out with his knife and loudly proclaim: "OK, where is this ****wit". Then he'd tell them to hit the road before he cut their balls off.
