When I feel competent as a pilot.
The board is very lively, and has a unique carving feeling, accurate and slicing. The tail bites and releases in a way which I haven't felt before. it's as if the tail is flexing but it's really due to it sinking and rising. It acts as a fin when it engages. There's an issue in the chop (pitching and pounding) which I think is due to me riding a bit too far back.. (quite normal on a diplacement tail when going down in length and/or coming off a tunnel finned board, more so with such a low buoyancy tail)...more confidence is required so that i can ride further forward. She doesn't feel like a ten footer that's for sure. Overall pretty stoked but have to do more dialling in, only about ten waves so far under the belt.
I suppose i could show the footage so far.
